COVID19 Response

Everyone,

There have been numerous questions about how NetLook is being impacted by the corona-virus and how we are adjusting to the new environments that we are encountering.

Several communications have been working their way through internal emails and communications channels. We wanted to create a public place to display relevant information and therefore we are giving this blog page a try.

First and foremost, the health and well being of our employees, customers and communities are our priority. We are following orders as given by federal, state, and local officials. We strongly encourage our employees to do the same. We have encouraged all of our employees to implement extra measures to protect their health while working in various different environments. We all have to do our part to follow the guidelines put in place by our government officials to stem the tide in this battle against the corona-virus.

Second, it is very clear to us that this is a challenging time to be in business. Not only are we directly impacted by the current environment, but so are our customers, and so are many of the partners in our supply chain and our working ecosystem. The NetLook team has been working on a response plan on a case by case basis. It is clear that there are many dynamics at play and that a single solution does not necessarily fit every scenario. We are somewhat fortunate to be operating on a model that does naturally react to the marketplace. As our customers face a difficult sales environment, our monthly bills are naturally going to decrease because we will service fewer inventory units. Hopefully there will be a return to a more robust car sales environment and that increased activity will lead to better margins for our customers and increased activity for our service related business.

We will be taking further action as the conditions change. We want to work together to find the best solution for all of our customers. One thing is certain, consumers will be spending even more time carefully shopping and selecting their next vehicle purchase online. They will certainly want to decrease their exposure and time spent in face to face interactions. This is the nature of the social distancing we are being taught to enact right now in every part of our lives. NetLook has long been a proponent of the necessity of providing top quality online tools to engage and get consumers to fall in love before they are even on the showroom floor at the dealership.

We will be posting more information here as it becomes available. After 20 years of serving the automotive industry, one thing we are certain of here at NetLook is that the spirit of the small business entrepreneurs in our community will confront and overcome even these hurdles thrown in front of us today.
