Data Strategy Matters For Auto Dealers

Data Strategy Matters For Auto Dealers

It is critical for entrepreneurial auto dealerships to get serious about implementing and augmenting their consumer data strategy. NetLook builds the tools to help engage your digital customers, target their journey through vehicle ownership with appropriate messaging, and earn their confidence by understanding their personal life stages and what that means to their automotive needs.

The Art of Choice, Go from Good to Great Brand Loyalty

The Art of Choice, Go from Good to Great Brand Loyalty

Good businesses present their products for sale in an organized and aesthetically pleasing way. Great businesses apply the knowledge that sometimes, too many options are a bad thing. Great businesses commit to presenting a simple path for their consumer to engage with their products and move from research to purchase seamlessly. Simply put, great businesses take the time to ensure they thoughtfully reduce the stress and anxiety that consumers feel when making a purchase.

MEETING THE CHALLENGES OF TODAY

Like everyone else, NetLook has had to change in order to meet the challenges of the “new normal”. Nothing is quite the same as what we had taken for granted in the past. That is not entirely a bad thing. It seems that there are silver linings even in the darkest of clouds. We have found that consumers are spending more time interacting with their vehicle targets online. That is a positive for the products that we provide to our customers. NetLook has long focused on delivering to the consumer a feeling of connection to the vehicle in an online setting. This focus has been a key to our staying relevant in the current marketplace.

As the CEO of NetLook, I am especially proud of our team members and how dedicated they have been to getting their customer’s inventory ready to be retailed online. Each team member plays a vital role in keeping NetLook successful. At this very moment, we are hearing reports of an increase in the covid virus within many of our core markets. I am putting out another note of encouragement to everyone that we are here working hard and staying committed to the safety of our employees, customers, and communities.

A sincere thank you goes out to our customers for being fantastic and supportive of our team members throughout this pandemic. We are grateful for the positive sense of community that everyone is working to build. My sense is that we will build and solve our way through any challenge that is thrown our way as long as we have good people surrounding us. Everyone please take extra care to stay healthy during these times!

With my sincere thanks!

Adaptation to the Circumstances

We stand united with our customers in the face of adversity during these unprecedented times for our industry.

As a small business, we are striving to stay committed to providing uninterrupted lot merchandising service to our dealers, even as the set of circumstances become more complex daily in each state and city that we operate. We are fully committed to keeping both your staff and our team safe and guarded from illness while still delivering the service we are known for as long as possible.

We fully realize now more than ever NetLook’s urgent & direct role in getting your vehicles online quickly with accurate data and hi-resolution multimedia to facilitate digital lead generation, and ultimately sales. It has been amazing to watch the determination and entrepreneurial spirit of everyone involved. We have seen quite a shift to new/creative methods of operation by dealers across the nation. It is obvious that the ability to sell online has become vitally important. We appreciate the trust that everyone has put in to us to provide a great online experience for their consumers. While we are all having to adjust and create new methods of operation, we are very much determined to continue to provide the best solutions to our partners and customers in the face of this pandemic.

COVID19 Response

Everyone,

There have been numerous questions about how NetLook is being impacted by the corona-virus and how we are adjusting to the new environments that we are encountering.

Several communications have been working their way through internal emails and communications channels. We wanted to create a public place to display relevant information and therefore we are giving this blog page a try.

First and foremost, the health and well being of our employees, customers and communities are our priority. We are following orders as given by federal, state, and local officials. We strongly encourage our employees to do the same. We have encouraged all of our employees to implement extra measures to protect their health while working in various different environments. We all have to do our part to follow the guidelines put in place by our government officials to stem the tide in this battle against the corona-virus.

Second, it is very clear to us that this is a challenging time to be in business. Not only are we directly impacted by the current environment, but so are our customers, and so are many of the partners in our supply chain and our working ecosystem. The NetLook team has been working on a response plan on a case by case basis. It is clear that there are many dynamics at play and that a single solution does not necessarily fit every scenario. We are somewhat fortunate to be operating on a model that does naturally react to the marketplace. As our customers face a difficult sales environment, our monthly bills are naturally going to decrease because we will service fewer inventory units. Hopefully there will be a return to a more robust car sales environment and that increased activity will lead to better margins for our customers and increased activity for our service related business.

We will be taking further action as the conditions change. We want to work together to find the best solution for all of our customers. One thing is certain, consumers will be spending even more time carefully shopping and selecting their next vehicle purchase online. They will certainly want to decrease their exposure and time spent in face to face interactions. This is the nature of the social distancing we are being taught to enact right now in every part of our lives. NetLook has long been a proponent of the necessity of providing top quality online tools to engage and get consumers to fall in love before they are even on the showroom floor at the dealership.

We will be posting more information here as it becomes available. After 20 years of serving the automotive industry, one thing we are certain of here at NetLook is that the spirit of the small business entrepreneurs in our community will confront and overcome even these hurdles thrown in front of us today.
